PROACT 2.0 is an application, accessed via a mobile phone app or web browser, which provides an additional way of securely communicating with your healthcare team.
You can use the PROACT 2.0 App via your mobile device and, if available in your country, via a dedicated webpage. The App allows you to send text, voice and video messages to your healthcare team and for your healthcare team to respond back to you via the app. Should the healthcare team feel it is necessary, they can still contact you using traditional communication methods
(telephone, e-mail, etc.).
Your healthcare team may use PROACT 2.0 to send you some electronic questionnaires. The App will record your responses.
You can send a message at any time, but please be aware that the healthcare team might not be able to respond immediately or
outside the usual daytime working hours, during public holidays or at weekends.
The traditional contact methods shall remain active and usable throughout the duration of the trial, should you wish to use them if you have any difficulties with the App or prefer to do so.
WARNING: PROACT 2.0 is to be used for non-urgent messages, it is NOT intended as a means for making emergency calls or for requesting an urgent response from your healthcare team. If you require urgent medical assistance during the trial participation
period, please use traditional channels, such as phoning 112, going to your nearest Accident and Emergency Department or phoning your local oncology unit.
